One look at Michael Capponi's resume and the lines between business and pleasure are immediately blurred. The Belgian-born nightlife promoter can take credit for the legitimacy of South Beach's hottest spots of the last decade, including B.E.D, Mansion, Prive, SET, Plunge and most recently LIV. But parties aren't everything Capponi is about. His Capponi Building Company is a full service construction and design management firm for commercial and luxury residential properties. It is through this endeavor that Capponi built director Michael Bay's home in Miami Beach, a labor of love that won him the "Leader of the Year" award from the Developers and Builders Alliance. Lately Capponi has also expended his philanthropic efforts, most recently by spearheading the Toast the United Way celebration, an annual cocktail party that benefits the organization's efforts in South Florida.
