PUTTING IT TOGTHER
Kathryn Wexler, fashion@miamiherald.com

Michael Capponi, nightlife promoter and owner of Capponi Luxury Group,a real estate company
Age: 34
From: Belgium
Lives in: Miami Beach
Haunts: I shop at Giorgio Armani in Bal Harbour a lot. I'm just very Armani -- I'm low-key; I'm not very flashy. I try to be modest and classic. And Barneys when I'm in New York and Neiman Marcus. There's nothing I wear that would come from [South Beach]. You can't find custom-made blazers and jackets on the beach.
What I covet: An 80-foot Riva -- a beautiful Italian boat that's wood.
His look: I've been doing [night club promotions] for 18 years and I do everything I can so I do not portray what a nightlife [entrepreneur] would look like. I'm a business person, not a nightlife freak.
I've always had a very similar style. If you look at pictures of me from eight years ago, I was pretty much the same. Fifteen years ago, I was wearing sandals and torn jeans and chiffon shirts and beads around my neck. That was the bohemian South Beach, when everyone had flowers in their hair.
WE WANT YOU . . .Calling all 'Putting It Together' candidates -- men and women who have a special look, a signature style. Your duds can come from Saks, Target, thrift shops.
