GOTHAM - MARCH 2001
The decadence on display was the work of Harrison & Shriftman,
a PR firm and the Hugo House was their giant promotional tool, a
brand-marketing machine with beds. The "red house on the hill,"
as it was known around town, was the destination spot for four of
the festival's biggest parties and a pit stop for model Rachel Hunter,
"the mayor of Miami," Michael Capponi, actress Piper Perabo,
and others who'd pop over to grab a drink or watch the 32 inch television
for news.
