Those in the velvet rope scene have known the name Michael Capponi since the
heyday of South Beach. But unlike any other nightlife promoters who have
come and gone, Capponi is no one hit wonder. He's evolved just as the Beach
has evolved, diversifying his business interests in the process. While his
parties and events are still the hottest tickets in town, Capponi's Empire
,the Capponi Group, now includes luxury development (he's a partner in both
ten museum Park and Angler's Resort in Miami Beach), renovations and
construction, and, most recently, interior design (in 2007 he launched
Capponi Casa, which specializes in custom-made furniture for luxury
residences and commercial spaces.) Capponi doesn't just cater to the
entertainment needs of sophisticated consumers, but to their complete
lifestyles. And, with his signature blazer and jeans ensemble and ubiquitous
BlackBerry, he's not playing the part of entrepreneurial Renaissance man. He
is one-with the portfolio to prove it. "I started the Capponi Group to share
my world. " says Capponi, a world of exclusivity, elegance and comfort. I
wanted to make glamour accessible to those with a discerning eye." By all
Accounts mission accomplished.
