MichaelCapponi Organizes Four Special Nights to Benefit the Community
TAMPA -- Miami Beach’s most elite nightclubs are joining forces to raise
money for United Way of Miami-Dade. Real estate developer and
hospitality entrepreneur Michael Capponi is spearheading the four-night
event, “A Toast to United Way” – all to improve the lives of those less
fortunate.
On December 26, 27, 28 and 29, nightclub enthusiasts will be able to
purchase special $10 drink tickets at nearly a dozen popular South Beach
nightspots. Special bottles of Veuve Clicquot will also be available for
purchase. All of the proceeds from the sales of the tickets and bottles will
go to the community through the work of United Way of Miami-Dade. The
champagne is being provided by Southern Wine & Spirits.
“People need to wake up and realize there are a lot of needs in this
community and it’s up to all of us to do something about it,” Capponi said.
“I am just one person, which is why I am calling on everyone, including
club owners and patrons, to step up and do their part – and at the same
time, have fun.”
Prive, Opium Garden, Mansion, SET, Suite, Snatch, Cameo, Delano, Glass
at the Forge, Rokbar, Mynt, Mokai, Sagamore and China Grill have already
signed up to participate on varying nights.
Capponi hopes the event will be just the beginning of a wonderful tradition
of giving in South Beach. For more information on the event, please
